The "Biscuit-Chocolate" Corporation includes the two factories - CJSC "Kharkiv Biscuit Factory" and CJSC "Kharkiv Confectionery "Kharkivyanka"".

  • Number of employees – 3 000. Goods produced per day – about 180 tons.
  • Goods produced – flour and sugar confectioneries.

The range of flour confectionery: biscuits (short dough, sugar, butter), cracker, wafers, wafer rolls, sponge-cakes, sponge-cake rolades,  wafer cakes.

The range of sugar confectionery: caramel, sweets (coated and uncoated), chocolate, marshmallow, toffee, marmalade.

The 1896 is considered to be the beginning of confectionery production in Kharkiv, when the Confectionary producing plant of Geoge Borman was founded. George Borman was a famous confectionery manufacturer and supplier of Russian Emperor. Later, in 1935, the other confectionery, Kharkiv Biscuit Factory, was founded. Since the 2001 both enterprisers have produced different sweets under "Biscuit-Chocolate" trademark, and in 2004 they were joined into Corporation of the same name.

Production of Kharkiv confectioners is the highest quality and the widest range of goods. Modern methods of feedstock processing and treatment, using of new packing materials secure long preservation of consumer properties and high taste qualities of the confectionary goods.

Kharkiv confectioners took part in numerous international exhibitions of confectionery such as "ISM" (Cologne, Germany), "FMI" (Chicago, USA), "Seal" (Paris, France). Wide range of goods and favorable conditions of cooperation with wholesale traders allowed to broaden the market. Today the confectionery of Kharkiv enterprises are exported into Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Mongolia, the United States of America, Canada, Israel, Germany.
